Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant for the County Borough of Belfast is Dame Fionnuala Jay-O’Boyle DBE DStJ

Fionnuala Jay-O’Boyle DBE DStJ was born in 1960, and has enjoyed a highly successful career in Public Affairs, PR and Marketing. In 1991, she founded Jay Associates Public & Government Affairs, Northern Ireland’s first independent consultancy in this area. Since then she has worked throughout GB, Ireland, Europe and the USA.


How Can The Lieutenancy Help?

  • Arranging for the Lord-Lieutenant or one of her Deputy Lieutenants to visit your organisation as a means of acknowledging the work being done.
  • Advising on procedures and nominations for the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise or the Elizabeth Cross.
